What to See and Do in Downtown Bend

There's always plenty to see and do in Downtown Bend, the epicenter of Bend's arts community.  The biggest attraction is the Tower Theatre, Bend's first movie theatre, now renovated into a community treasure, hosting cultural events, movies, plays,and concerts.

The first Friday of each month is also First Friday Art Walk, with downtown merchants staying open late to feature the wares of many local artisans.

Downtown Bend will also host this year's Christmas Parade and Winterfest celebrations, with the entire area blocked off to auto traffic, creating a unique urban mall experience for a weekend.

If you'd like to catch a movie, wander over to McMenamin's theatre, where you can enjoy a burger and a beer while watching a film in their plush chairs. 

And, of course, feel free to peruse the many downtown shops, and you might be surprised what entertainment options you might stumbled across.
