Where to Eat in the Old Mill District

Unique Restaurants on the Banks of the Deschutes

Where to eat in the Old MillIf you're getting ready to hit the slopes or just getting ready to wind down with a relaxing dinner, the vendors and restaurants at the Old Mill District ave what you'll need.

If it's in the morning, that means coffee, and our top pick is Strictly Organic Coffee Company.  They serve and deliver Certified Organic and Fair Trade coffee, which is pretty tasty to boot.

Old Mill 2Need to refuel for lunch, or ready for a quick dinner with the kids in tow?   There are well-known stand-bys, such as Quizno's and Red Robin, or, if you want to break out of your comfort zone, Pastini Pastaria, inspired by the small neighborhood pastarias found in the home country, offers 36 (!) different kinds of pastas.  If pizza is your wish, then we suggest Flatbread Community Oven, making true Neapolitan-style pizzas - a significant step up from most delivery fare.

For a relaxing river-side dinner, the Old Mill District boasts Anthony's at the Old Mill, which offers a fine selection of fresh seafood daily (see, living in a coastal state has it's advantages), and Greg's Grill, specializing in steaks and rotisserie-style chicken.  Both are excellent choices for relaxing, ruminating on the day and watching the river flow slowly by.
